"STYLY" Service Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is intended to describe for you, as an user of our service, including “STYLY” and “STYLY PRO”, associated software, any related applications, or any other online services and websites (collectively, the “Services”), about how STYLY, Inc.(“we” or “us”) collect, how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared. 

In this Policy, “user” or “you” means any person using or otherwise benefiting from the Services or otherwise submitting information to us via the Services. 



This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”), to which you agree to be bound by using the Services. 


Information We Collect

Personal Information of Users: 

We collect the following personal information in connection with the Services: 

(a) if you register as an user of our Services, we will collect the personal information you submit to us, including but not limited to your name, location, and personal e-mail address; 

(b) if applicable, we may collect payment information from such as your name and credit card information; and 

(c) if you use our Services for the benefit of any business entity or any other legal entity, we will collect your corporate name. 

All of this information is referred to in this Policy as “Personal Information.” 


Personal Information of Others: 

We may also collect and store personal information about other people that you provide to us. All of this information is referred to in this Policy as “Personal Information of Others.” 

If you use our Services to send others a product as a gift, information that may interest them or messages (such as invitations) through our system, we may store your personal information, and the personal information of each such recipient. Similarly, if you use our Services to upload, share and/or distribute your content, and such content contains personal information about others, such information may be stored. 


Uploaded Data: 

The Services allows users to upload and submit 3D models, images, and related content, along with captions, comments and other information. All data uploaded by users is referred to in this Policy as “Uploaded Data.” 


Cookies and other Tracking Information: 

We, along with our third-party service providers, may use web tracking technologies such as cookies and web beacons in order to operate the Services efficiently and to collect data related to usage of the Services. 

Such collected data (“Tracking Information”) may include the address of the websites you visited before and after you visited the Service, the type of browser you are using, access times, your IP address, what pages in the Services you visit and what links you clicked on, user preferences, and whether you opened email communications we send to you. 


Aggregated and Non-personal Information: 

We will also create statistical, aggregated data relating to our users and the Services for analytical purposes (“Aggregate Information”). Aggregate Information is derived from Personal Information, Tracking Information and Uploaded Data but in its aggregated form it does not duplicate or reveal any Uploaded Data or relate to or identify any individual. 


How We Use the Information We Collect

Personal Information of Users: 

We may use your email address to send you informational materials regarding the Services, or marketing materials regarding PVRL’s other products and services. We may also use Personal Information for the internal operation, research and analysis, product development, and administrative purposes of the Services. 


Personal Information of Others: 

We may use the Personal Information of Others for the marketing, promoting, internal operation, research and analysis, product development, and administrative purposes of the Services. 


Uploaded Data: 

We collect and store Uploaded Data in order to provide the Services to you, and it may be used for the purposes of developing, distributing, providing, improving, marketing, and promoting the Services. 

With respect to the “STYLY PRO”, all data uploaded with a status of “Public” may be used, without being limited to the above purposes, within the scope of our general business purpose (including use for publicity, advertising and commercial use as paid content).


Tracking Information: 

We use Tracking Information to administer the Services and to understand how well our Services are working, to store your user preferences, and to develop statistical information on usage of the Services. This helps us improve our Services, personalize your user experience, and to measure overall effectiveness. You may be able to modify your browser settings to alter which web tracking technologies are permitted when you use the Service, but this may affect the performance of the Services. 


Aggregate Information: 

Aggregate Information may be used to understand our customer base and to develop, improve and market the Services and PVRL’s other products or services, including but not limited to consulting services and data vending. 


With Whom We Share Your Information

Personal Information and Uploaded Data: 

We do not share your Personal Information or, Personal Information of Others or Uploaded Data (collectively, the “Stored Information”) with others except as indicated below or when we inform you and give you an opportunity to opt out of having your Personal Information shared. We may share the Stored Information or Uploaded Data with: 

  1. Group Companies: We may share the Stored Information with our subsidiaries, parent companies, affiliates, and other group companies that have a close relationship with us.
  2. Service providers: We may share the Stored Information with our authorized service providers that perform certain services on our behalf. These services may include fulfilling orders, processing credit card payments, delivering packages, providing customer service and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis, supporting our Services. 
  3. Business partners: When you make purchases, reservations or engage in promotions offered through our website or our Services, we may share the Stored Information with our business partners. 
  4. Direct mail partners. From time to time we may share our postal mailing list with selected providers of goods and services that may be of interest to you. 
  5. Legal Exception. We also may disclose the Stored Information when we believe disclosure is appropriate in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, report or take other action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing; to protect and defend the rights, property or safety of our company, our users, our employees, or others; to comply with applicable law or cooperate with law enforcement; or to enforce our website terms and conditions or other agreements or policies. 


Any third parties to whom we may disclose the Stored Information may have their own privacy policies which describe how they use and disclose the Stored Information. Those policies will govern use, handling and disclosure of your personal information once we have shared it with those third parties as described in this Privacy Policy. 


Tracking Information: 

We disclose Tracking Information to Contractors, in order to analyze the performance of the Services and the behavior of users, and to operate and improve the Service. 


Aggregate Information: 

We may disclose Aggregate Information to any third parties, such as media outlets, potential customers, business partners, and funding sources, in order to describe our business and operations or for any other purpose. 


Network Operators: 

Use of the Services may involve use of the services of third party telecommunications carriers. These carriers are not our contractors, and any information that a carrier collects in connection with your use of the Services is not “Personal Information” and is not subject to this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of telecommunications carriers. 


Business Transfers: 

In the event that PVRL is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. This Policy will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity. 


Collection of User Information by Niantic, Inc.


STYLY implements Lightship ARDK, an AR creation tool provided by Niantic, Inc.
Users may use various features provided by Lightship ARDK in the course of using the Service. In such cases, Niantic, Inc. will collect the following information about users under its privacy policy.

a) Device information such as device OS, model, and configuration settings
b) In-app activity data such as ARDK features used (e.g semantic segmentation, meshing, multiplayer)
c) Log information such as unique user IDs as well as performance and other diagnostic data
d) Geospatial information derived from the device camera, which is not persistently stored
e) Visual Positioning Service (VPS)
f) Location information, including GPS information
g) Geospatial information and images collected from the device camera and sensors

You also agree to Niantic’s Privacy Policy by agreeing to this Privacy Policy.

Security: We use reasonable security precautions to protect the security and integrity of your Personal Information in accordance with this policy and applicable law. However, no Internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that security breaches will not occur. Without limitation of the foregoing, we are not responsible for the actions of hackers and other unauthorized third parties that breach our reasonable security procedures. 


Links: The Services may contain links to other websites and services, including payment services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those websites, and you should review the privacy statements of each third party website you visit. This Policy applies solely to information collected by the Services. 


Amendments: We may revise this Policy from time to time. The most current version of the Policy will govern our use of your information and will always be located at our website. If we make a change to this Policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you via the Services or via email to the email address associated with your account. By continuing to access or use the Service after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Policy.
