This year, the fifth year of the NEWVIEW Awards, we invited entries under the theme “Create a Melting Reality”.
During the application period we received 155 entries (AR: 54, VR: 92, XR: 9) from 14 countries, and 21 works were selected as finalists.
This year’s entries featured AI-based visual expression and experience design with a strong awareness of physicality, and many new approaches to perceptual experience that blend the physical and virtual. From the 21 finalists, nine Prize-winning entries will be selected by a panel of nine judges.
The winning entries will be announced at NEWVIEW FEST 2022, to be held in Japan, 23rd – 25th December, 2022.
