XR Premiere: A New MR Experience in Pennywise’s ‘The Clown’ Carnival Fun House from the Hit Movie IT – Chapter Two

“IT – Chapter Two: Carnival” in VR is an exclusive VR creation developed under the supervision of Warner Brothers and New Line Cinema in the United States. The new VR based content takes place in Pennywise’s (the Clown) Carnival Fun House where spectators wear VR ready goggles and stroll through a 8.5 by 4.5 meter space guided by a red balloon. The experience is frightening and overwhelming with a combination of VR and 4D type features that include wind, vibration, and other elements. Spectators journey through the Fun House armed with only a flashlight in search of the missing child, Georgie.

■ The Story
You are part of a group of 4 in search of the missing child in the town of Derry, Maine. The VR scene opens at Pennywise’s Carnival venue where you can wander around the space in search of the missing child using a handheld flashlight. The scene is a replica of the same Carnival found in the hit movie IT – Chapter Two. You will have to visit this VR event to find out what happens next. But Beware of Pennywise….
