Psychic VR Lab Co., Ltd. (headquarters in Shinjuku-ku Tokyo, CEO Yukihiro Yamaguchi), the company that provides the VR/AR creative platform STYLY, is holding an art exhibition in conjunction with KDDI Co., Ltd. ( Chiyoda-ku Tokyo, President and Representative Director Makoto Takahashi, hereinafter referred to as KDDI) with regard to finalists’ artwork using Nreal Light Smartglasses. The exhibition will be held at BOOSTER STUDIO by CAMPFIRE, a showroom which is co-managed by Shibuya PARCO Co., Ltd. (head office in Shibuya-ku Tokyo, President and Representative Director Kozo Makiyama) and CAMPFIRE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters in Shibuya-ku Tokyo, CEO Kazuma Ieiri) and specializes in demonstration experiments.
Finalists’ artworks from NEWVIEW AWARDS 2019, which is themed around VR content awards in the fields of fashion, culture, and art, will be exhibited in the form of AR art. NEWVIEW AWARDS 2019 is organized by NEWVIEW, an experimental project/community that develops the design of new creative expressions and experiences in 3D spaces.
This award is also co-sponsored by KDDI, building up 5G era art experiences while exploring new experiences in 3D spaces.

NEWVIEW AWARDS 2019 is the second round of global awards seek VR content in the fields of fashion, culture, and art.
The aim of this award is to pioneer the near future where all creators will reap the harvest of 3D spatial expressions (VR) and pursue new expressions, cultures, and lifestyles, and discover new-generation creators who will cause momentum in Super Design Experience.
The theme is a continuation of last year’s theme: DESIGN YOUR ULTRA EXPERIENCE.
The exhibition and the award ceremony will be held at the new Shibuya PARCO, which is scheduled to open in late November 2019, after screening by a fancy jury.

AR installation in SHIBUYA XR SHOWCASE
SHIBUYA XR SHOWCASE is coming to Shibuya PARCO! This virtual showcase displays 3D creative contents created by computers through smartphones and Ar-compatible glasses as if you were really there.
The opening of the new theatre will feature the permanent exhibition of World’s end supernova, the AR installation artwork by designer Discont who was awarded the PARCO award in NEWVIEW AWARD 2018.

Organizer NEWVIEW PROJECT
NEWVIEW started in January 2018 as an experimental project/community that develops new creative expressions and design experiences in 3D spaces.
It conducts experiments to design next-generation culture/lifestyle experiences that transcend reality and fantasy together with creators who embody city culture such as fashion, music, movies, graphics, and illustration.
It also develops, cultivates, and interacts with next-generation VR creators through lectures and meetups in Japan and overseas.
「BOOSTER STUDIO by CAMPFIRE」
BOOSTER STUDIO by CAMPFIRE emerged from BOOSTER, a crowdfunding service which is co-managed CAMPFIRE and PARCO. The permanent showroom store exhibits unique digital products, technology, and ideas.
It combines crowdfunding, AI, web, and reality, and provides a space for not only the improvement of small quantity, large variety products and the development of new products but also the devising of distribution strategies such as opening new stores by providing feedback opportunities for mainly prototypes, demonstration experiments, test-marketing products.
BOOSTER STUDIO by CAMPFIRE
BOOSTER is a crowdfunding service that is co-managed by CAMPFIRE and PARCO.
Since March 2019, it has been supporting the realization of the ideas of creators who are taking on the challenge to create in the digital age by providing crowdfunding services specialized in the digital and local categories, all under the social roles of incubation, dissemination, and city development.
BOOSTER supports project dissemination through PARCO’s media.
