Psychic VR Lab, a provider of the VR creative platform “STYLY” (https://styly.cc), has started to sell a 3D scanner and cloud system that allows users to scan outfits and view them on your smartphone or PC, and post and share it on SNS. As the first installation, the system was introduced to Parco Ltd. and operation has started today.
Psychic VR Lab (HQ: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Yoshihiro Yamaguchi) has developed a 3D scanner and cloud system that allows you to scan an outfit, view it on your smartphone or PC, post it on SNS, and share it. The company has begun sales of the system. Parco Ltd. is the first company to introduce this system.
The system will be available to the public at the “RUNWAY channel Lab. SHIBUYA” run by MARK STYLER, which will open a store at SR6 in Shibuya on the 15th.
Overview of the service
Customers can take a picture of their own outfits with the 3D scanner (it takes only three seconds to take a picture), and within about 30 minutes, they can access a special website using a QR code on their smartphone to view the 3D data, or download a video to post on social networking sites.
The company plans to expand the STYLY scanners to a wide range of shops, including fashion and amusement stores.
The company plans to roll out 30 sets in the next year.
In addition, the captured 3D data can be immediately imported into the STYLY creator tool, which allows users to create a VR space without programming, allowing them to create and distribute a VR space. The combination of the two makes it possible to deliver a VR space with daily outfits, making it easier to develop your business by using 3D data.
