NEWVIEW FEST 2022, featuring XR art and entertainment will be held December 23 to 25
NEWVIEW, a joint project by Psychic VR Lab, Parco, and Loftwork, will be hosting XR event “NEWVIEW FEST 2022” from Friday, December 23 to Sunday, December 25, 2022.
NEWVIEW FEST 2022 will feature XR art and entertainment under the theme of “Create a Melting Reality,” a physical and sensual fusion of the physical and virtual world.
“NEWVIEW ULTRA XR LIVE” will feature special content where AI #kzn (read “Kizuna”), created from virtual YouTuber Kizuna AI’s voice, performs in multiple dimensions in the streets of Shibuya. There will also be a resale of the limited edition #kzn AR T-shirt until Saturday, December 31.
In addition to the XR LIVE, experimental XR-based store “NEWVIEW MARKET” at Shibuya PARCO will exhibit works by Masahide Matsuda, and the NEWVIEW AWARDS ceremony and NEWVIEW SCHOOL exhibitions will also take place during the three-day festival.

NEWVIEW ULTRA XR LIVE
#kzn (Kizuna)—Born from Kizuna AI’s voice—to appear as a huge figure in the streets of Shibuya!
With an upcoming world tour debut next year, #kzn will be performing as a huge figure in the streets of Shibuya in collaboration with NEWVIEW.
#kzn will be featured in a remix of DJ/producer Steve Aoki’s “Movie Star feat. MOD SUN & Global Dan” by #kzn and TeddyLoid, and in an original song by Japanese rapper Kamui.
The XR visuals will be directed by creator of VRChat’s prestigious “GHOSTCLUB” 0b4k3, phi16, and up-and-coming media artist JACKSON kaki.
